I am trying to locate a wiring diagram for a inline mic muteswitch. Specifically I'm thinking about the one that normally comes from Masque. Lit switch, couple of resisters, battery, and a 4 pin pass through.
It's a simple circuit, the 9V battery literally only powers the light, passing through one part of a 4PDT switch. Pins 3 and 4 from the headsetpass through the box, Pin 1 and 2 go into a 4PDT switch, 1 pole of each goes straight through the switch to the other connector, and the other pole of mic + and mic - connect to each other, so when you flip the switch the mic shorts to itself. Usually light on = mic on in the Masque boxes.
I'll try to go find one this week, I have built this box before, both just dropping mic + and mic - and with it shorting to itself, the shop shorts the mic to itself.
