Crank up Trees

Hello everyone!

I am setting up a show for a photo shoot on Monday and have a few silly questions.

We are doing a 40' 12"x18" truss span on (2) Crank up trees (proper rated truss mount ones Alptek 5500? ).... The truss will only be holding some drape.... does this seem okay to you?

My question is, what is the best way to build 40' of truss and get it on the crank up trees? Build it and have a bunch of people lift? Or Build and slide the trees along?

I've never done that before....

Help?

Also, we have drape with pockets for crossbars, what would be the best way to attach the crossbars on the truss? Can we use zip ties? Or is that a big no no?

build the truss and lift it, heavy zip ties are fine, but I usually use 6mm braided pp rope, I assume this job is indoor as trying to do that outdoor would be suicidal.
