I need help figuring out ways to cue cell phones to ring. My director wishes for the sounds to come from the phones instead of the speakers to make it more realistic, and to help provide more focus (as the characters are constantly moving around)
Additional info:
There are 5 actors total.
Cell phone rings are to be cued off lines and movement/gestures
How it is staged---the actors can't manually set their phones to go off. (some characters are fist fighting each other, some are climbing, dancing etc.)
Cell phone reception in the theatre space isn't always reliable. Sometimes theres no service. Wifi in the space is good.
