    Very good read and alarming. It’s a global market so what happens in the EU will affect us here in the US as well. It’s not like Martin makes a different set of US fixtures. Nor sure if comments are allowed from the US but hoppefully the entertainment exemption will be re-instated

    So, as I read it, current efficient LED light sources would be BAD, but I'd still be able to fire up that 10KW incandescent Fresnel !

    @SteveB In the UK there are Rumors that Martin Professional are going under, don’t know if the same will happen across the pond. They’ve already sold the M-Control range to elation. Would be a shame to see them go.

    That would be unfortunate, I love their gear, have MAC Aura’s and 700’s. Very nice reliable units.

    I know... What theatrical rental house in the world doesn’t have a few or many mac 250s?
