Design Expo

[MHdesign]

Long time reader, first time poster.

I am a student and will be attending USITT for the first time this spring. I am looking at the design expo and would like to think about entering a production. Anyone give me ideas on actually participating in this? What stuff goes into a display? How much? Is it worth it? I would probably be looking at packing up a model and bringing it down which could get expensive, so I'd want it to be worth my effort/expense.

Sorry for the delay @MHdesign I just noticed this last year the back corner of the main trade show hall was full of cool projects people had made and displayed. I know I spent a lot of time back there checking out all the stuff. Lots of people were hanging out by their projects visiting and showing their work.

Some were really unusual and interesting, others were just normal design models and didn't draw much attention. Still If you want to show your work and get tons of feedback, you can't beat it.
