Hey folks,
I recently got ahold of some Diversitronics Model 50-ET strobe lights. I don't have any way of controlling them. Being that the lights are older than I am (I think), I'm not familiar with their control scheme. I have read somewhere they require a proprietary RC4S-50 controller. These have been swapped to 3 pin xlr from 4 as I've read is common. I can get them to strobe constant at max rate by shorting pins 1 and 2.
Is it possible to build a timing circuit (IE: 555 pulses) to diy these into my current setup? Does anyone else have some creative solutions that don't require me buying that obsolete controller?
I'm just interested if anyone in the community is still using these and has any tips. Thanks everybody,
MarV
