If there was a cheaper one, a DMX Iris in each of our two new RightArms would be awesome!

I was referring more to Light and Sound America. They had just sent out an e-mail talking about Roscoe's new DMX Iris and DichroFilm

We just found a bunch of really nice manual Iris's in our tech closet we didn't even know we had them but i plan on using them because they work better then the shutters sometimes. DMX Iris's would be nice tho.

I changed out my FOH from 20 Shakespeare 15-30 zooms, to 24 S4 19 & 26's a few years back, purchased ea. S4 with a drop-in iris, mostly to replicate the zoom- in ability of the zoom, just without a zoom.

They are NOT cheap at $75 ea., back then. Pro Advantage shows the City Theatrical at $119 ea. - which is a lot given that the entire fixture is $300.

I use aperature gobo's in my S4 zooms, either 1/4 or 1/2. In a zoom they work great.

Have no need for DMX Iris's - yet.
