2. Referring to the NEMA 5-15, parallel blade, u-ground, plug or connector. (Even though it was invented by Harvey Hubbell. At least Harvey gets credit for the Twist-Lock.)

3. A shortened form of "Edison medium screwbase" when describing a lamp's base, or socket type. "E26" would likely be a better, more specific, term.
