Design Elation 216 vs Mac 301

I'm doing a simple wall wash in a large space and am trying to decide on the right fixture. I've recently used both the Elar 216 rgbw panels and the Mac 301s for similar applications. When trying to compare photometric data, i found that the Elars were listed in FC/lux and the Mac 301s were listed in lumens. Can anyone help with this?

Listed in Lux. Based on specs the Martin is brighter at wide or narrow zoom. However, the shapes of the beams will not be identical because of the arrangement of the LEDS, so the ELAR may work out better depending on how you want to shape the wash.

You will also get better customer service from Elation as oppose to Martin if you have issues, just my experience.

Not sure I agree with that. Maybe you need to find the right person to talk to at Martin.
