We have an Elation eNode4 that, when connected to our ETC Gio with ArtNet, strobes on all 512 channels. Change intensity or what have you and it still strobes. Unplug the Ethercon carrying the ArtNet and the strobing stops, so it's clearly dependent on receiving data from the console for this issue to occur.
I found this thread (https://forums.elationlighting.com/topic/pulsing-from-enode-4) on the Elation forum that describes this exact issue, but suggests a firmware upgrade. I don't have the $1000 firmware upgrade tool - and if that's what is required to get this thing up and running I'd rather just buy another ArtNet/SACN gateway that works properly.
Before I call whomever at Elation I would be curious if anyone here has thoughts.
And as an aside, we have had horrible luck with Elation. Besides this, we also own two Platinum Spot 5R Pros that have been plagued with issues and bugs. Unimpressed.
