Hello Control Booth enthusiasts,

We have received an old peice of equipment made by Electro Controls in Salt lake city, Utah. We know don't know much about it beside that it came from our local unversity. Didn't find much information about it at the archive.
http://electrocontrolsarchive.blogspot.com/ We are looking to find a new home for it with the useful new information. Any help is greatly appreciated

It looks like a 16 dimmer analog rack that controlled lighting for a ballroom or meeting rooms. The custom control panel appears to have room combine switches as well as fader controls. I'm not sure who would want such a big panel.

These look like EC's AlphaDim dimmer modules. Standard EC 15.6 vdc analog control with each module being a self-contained unit complete with choke. This was in their architectural lineup and used discrete SCRs or TRIACs. I've got a couple of these modules as spares/replacements. Can't find a spec sheet though.

Thanks for the info and replys. We will add the information to it. We hope this info helps consumers make an informed decision and that it will help find it a new home. Unfortunately, like FMEng said, if it sits long enough here that it will be recycled.
