Automated Fixtures ETC Ion Moving Fixtures

I was wondering if it is possible to set limits or boundaries on moving lights. That way when I use pre-programed effects they don't shine onto valances and such.

You can adjust your effect so that the sweep is not as far. However, as far as I know you can't set limits on a per fixture basis. You could assign each fixture it's own effect with different scale.

Some options:

- When configuring the effect, adjust the Scale to a lower value to make the "sweep" what you need.

- Put the effect on a sub , make the sub an Effect Sub ("Ch's, XX, Thru, XX, Effect, XX, Enter, Mode, Effect Sub". ) and change the Fader to Proportional. As you raise the sub handle the amount of movement increases. maybe put the intensities on an separate sub, using Record Only for the intensity.
