I had ordered 14 Colorsource Spots back in August, I am being told that I am getting the new V version shipping next week. I am excited about the deep blue chip but am very curious about how they will match up with the first generation spots. Also trying to exchange all the Powercon jumpers I already received for the lights.

They'll match up great! I haven't compared the dmx profiles yet, but if you just leave out the deep blue channel, the output and colors will match the old ones.

I have a stocking order coming up at the start of the year to convert my rental stock to the Vs, and I'm excited as all get out.

We will see how well they match, these are going into our concert hall and I need the color temps to match for all the video we do. By juggling my three spaces inventories I can make all of the front wash light first gen lights and then the specials will be Vs. Of course the lights will be showing up when I'm at LDI.
