File resolution for multi screen projection

Hi, I have to prepare an animation for a multi screen projection (3 overlapped screens).
The screen is about 15 meters large. Besides the correct aspect ratio, is a 1920px wide file enough? I could go up to 3840 px but I'm not sure my machine can bear the rendering of the animation...

That depends of a lot of factor, but in case you are doing a triplewide setup, then best to use triplewide content, so for 3 FullHD projectors 5760x1080 is the best resolution.

1920 will be enough pixels depending on how far away your audience is from the image as well as what kind of detail you need in your content. For my regular job, I use a lower resolution for a larger surface, but it all has to do with those two variables. If I ever get to upgrade, I hope to go to aa much higher resolution order to get better detail.
