We had a local-ish R&B act named "Dr Ruth and Good Sax".
 
Hello, this may sound like a dumb question. but are there any reputable online training programs for theater fly rail system and rigging safety? not necessarily certifications but just informative I'd like to keep myself and staff informed on the best safety practices.

There are some basics check out Chicago Fly House. They have a lot on line and free web broadcast. Grand Stage will be sponsoring in person Theatrical Skills workshops which is hands on in chicago. Remember this is for basics and if you do not know how to use a fly rail or riging....... Please don't as safety is extremely important. That said I think you will benefit from either of those I listed.
