The air assist is very powerful. If it is released without a load on it, it is difficult for mere mortals to retract. Used by the right people, it's a wonderful, labor saving device. I was going to turn this stand loose to church staff, and I could see them punching holes in ceilings or trunk lids. Instead, I'm going with a crank up.

I didn't manage to try it out before the item return period was past, hence the offering here.
