1a. verb. To act as a gaffer, "I have to go gaff the lights for a TV commercial."
1b. verb. Fabricate something, especially temporarily.
2. noun. (Usually spellled "gaffe"), a social faux pas or error.
3a. verb. Shortened form meaning to use gaffers tape, "Please gaff down those cables to the deck."
2b. noun. Shortened form of the expendable/consumable gaffers tape, aka (gaffer's tape if it is his), (gaffers' tape if they feel like sharing).
3. Proper noun. Shortened nickname for either, both, or none of the Gaff-brothers from different mothers, CB members [USER]Gafftapegreenia[/USER] and [USER]Gafftaper[/USER].
