Gender Bender on a Digital Snake?

I got some specs today on a gig I will be working in a few weeks. The console I am using can support 16 outputs - and ideally I would like to use up to 14 of them, but I am limited by the FOH digital snake! The snake only has 8 inputs to the stage, and I need a few more! The Snake is a Roland RSS 8x32 snake. The FOH box is the S-4000H. Is there any way I could gender bend some of the inputs and make them outputs? I know it works with an analog snake, but is the signal flow only one way in this digital snake?

The simple answer is no.

Agreed with Chris; since the snake has to convert analog to digital and vice versa, you're stuck with the snake's configuration.
