Greetings,
I have been on a crash course on lighting for the last three months. I am a volunteer advising a historic church in Boston on various building matters. Having gotten the roof leaks fixed, I have turned my attention to the sanctuary lighting -- a 1954 design.
First, we replaced 27 500-watt high-bay lights with compact fluorescents with new reflectors. Then I looked at the lighting in the chancel (stage) and rented some Source 4 PARs and spots. This is working well.
In this process, I removed a 50-year-old Century Leko. It is in good shape except that the reflector looks hazy (oxidization). Do I trash this or is there an interest in it or its parts?
Julian
