Control/Dimming GrandMA1 - changing the IP address

I'm attempting to connect the grandMA1 with the 3d visualizer (which i did earlier this week until some came and adjusted setting and won't contact me back).

My issue is that I can change the IP address in "MA Network - Consoles" to anything except 127.0.0.1
which is what i need it to be. any thoughts? once i type in the .1 the 'save and reboot' option grays out. any way i can fix this or change the MA 3d IP address?

In MA 3D you can change the IP adress, it will give you option of a "loopback" IP. This is presuming they are both on the same computer. If they are not you can set the console to anything in the 192.196.0.x range, which is that they like to live on. Then in your computers setting change the IP to something in that range.
