Hello everyone 
I'm from Belgium, a tiny country famous for its chocolate and beer ;-)
I'm close to 40, and have a degree in computer science. To bring food home, I work for a major company that builds routers (the boxes that make the Internet possible), where I assist telecom companies to fix their issues.
I'm also a musician, and have been playing guitar for about 20 years now. I've started to get involved in the control booth of a church few years ago, and discovered the joy (and how scary it is) of being in charge of the FOH mixer console. Current one is a Yamaha O2R, love this baby
Having a family, I can't really take a sabbatical to attend a sound engineering school, so I read as much as I can in my spare time, in order to learn all I can possibly learn. This is how I started to read this board ;-)
