glaring inadequacy

Hello Control Booth (a year late).
I’ve been reading threads here for a while, but never posted anything. Thought I might introduce myself.
I’m in my senior year of high school, trying to hold the auditorium tech club together, teach some underclassmen everything I’ve picked up, and figure out college.
So far, a lot of my time has been spent in lighting. I designed a community theatre production of Seussical The Musical this past summer. Recently I’ve also done some stage management work, to make way for some of the underclassmen and let them get their hands on the equipment while somebody’s still there to help them out.
Along with a very talented sophomore sound tech, I also worked sound for a middle school production of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe (with 15 wireless mics... and we were told we were doing the show two days before the dress rehearsal).
That basically sums up what I've been up to... I plan on getting a BFA in theatre design and tech, and hopefully that’ll lead me somewhere after college.
I’m glad I found Control Booth. It’s been a valuable resource and a great insight into the industry.
