A ground support unit designed to travel with a touring unit. Often these are whats known as self-climbing units in that the grid is built, then sleeve blocks are attached, towers raised, and then hoists are used to lift the grid so the unit lifts itself (hence where the name comes from). Lighter weight or low height units are less common but they many not need to be self climbing.
