Haze bad for diabetics?

Hello all, I have been trying to get Haze approved for a "Rock and Roll" production at my school and my supervisor said I could not use haze because "it is bad for diabetics when it touches their skin." I would like to know if anyone has herd of any cases like this or if it could be harmful to inhale etc.
I am using a Le Maitre, Neutron XS Hazer with a wind tunnel fan to disperse it.

I have never heard of any issues as your supervisor has described. I have included links to some articles you can read and share. The first deals with air pollution as a cause of haze. It actually has a section that describes adverse health affects on diabetic persons. The next two deal with scientific research conducted by Actor's Equity. The MSDS of the fluid you are using can also be looked up online and will describe the precautions required by OSHA to be around and exposed to the fluids. I would suggest you review these documents and begin a conversation with your supervisor. Then I would ask them to provide you with their research on ths issue.
Most problesm with smoke and haze result from smoke alarms and particle detectors in air handleing units.

Thanks for your quick reply, I am coordinating with our fire department on the particle detection side. I will definitely have a conversation with my supervisor and ask them for their data.

Here is the data sheet from the manufacturers site. If your using another product you would have to look for that one. each one is different.

Large concentrations on skin possible problems for all people. With proper protection should not be a problem. Audience with medical problems should not be a problem.
