Hello all,
My name is Jim, and I've been involved in theatre and dance companies for about 5 years, doing rigging and back stage work for non profits and community theatre.
I've decided to get some formal training in my 'hobby' and I'm starting at UW-Madison this fall as a MFA in Theatre Technology. In the mean time, I'm taking some courses that will count towards my major once I'm officially enrolled.
I ran across this forum while working on a class project for designing a wagon with a turntable.
Looks like there is a lot of valuable experience and knowledge and I'm looking forward to reading posts here!
