Labor management. Describes a half-hour meal break that is actually (officially or unofficially) 40-45 minutes long. Often a contract/policy will state that a 60 minute meal break is unpaid, whereas a half-hour is paid. A "Hollywood half" splits the difference, but is "on the clock."
