    1. Not a curse word even though it sounds like one. An isolation transformer used with video signals to eliminate RFI/EMR interference, most often seen as Hum Bars. Humbucker is a model of ADC brand, but as with many items in the industry, is applied to similar generic gear. Available for use with composite, RGB, and RGBHV video signals.

    2. Also a type of electric guitar pickup used in some Gibson, Rickenbacker and Fender guitars. Contains dual coils (as opposed to a single coil) which are mounted and wound in a way that greatly reduces interference from other nearby EMI sources using a technique called Common-Mode Rejection.
