I'm a new member. Guess that's why I'm starting a thread on the New Member board. I'm interested in sound production. Not necessarily from a theatrical standpoint, but musically.
Welcome fellow newbie...I just signed up.
I've been doing audio support stuff...mostly live sound...since 1972, with my first HS band. I got an opinion on just about eveything...most of which are probably wrong...but hey, someones gotta say the stupid things so other people can look smart.
I've been a pro-audio sales guy and and a bench tech in the St. Louis area, as well as owning my own little sound company (20 boxes of JBL spkrs)...which I'm pretty much semi-retired from now...slinging 200lb speaker boxes around is a young man's game...us old farts need to stay outta the way.
Anyway, if you gotta seriouis question and are looking for a half-baked opinion, I'm your guy!
