No, the boards are built as spare parts . They are exactly the same as our model# MD402, which is UL recognized, just without the Triacs.
The line voltage components in the cabinet, Triacs or SCRs, chokes, breakers, wiring,...Are not modified.
These retrofit boards, MD400-DMX ( DMX512) and MD400 ( Digital Lighting ) are used in many installations to retrofit and restore old dimming cabinets.
