It's always fascinating to listen to a master who loves their work talk about it.That was cool.
And yes, I watched all of both. I’m the weirdest rigger out there.
Yeah I spent the whole video saying, "I sort of know what that means" over and over.I watched the videos. Very interesting.... didn't really understand anything he said but it was still interesting
Did the Golden Earing drummer still have the strobe lights for his drum kit. The ones that looked like they were built into goosneck desklights? Oh, nevermind! Just remembering useless nonsense.First Concert I went to. Styx Come sail away tour 1979. Golden Earing opened for them. Doubt it was the same sound guy...
Hey, me too! (If one doesn't count Sonny & Cher in 1974 I think.) EDIT: 1972.First Concert I went to. Styx Come sail away tour 1979.
That I don't remember. I do know it was my first concert. There was a huge curtain on stage then there was like a little three piece band set up in front of the curtain. When they started playing I didn't know any of the songs and I was really disappointed. Then they played Radar Love and I really enjoyed it. Then hands came out and cleared all the gear and I was like, "Was that really worth $15.00?" then the lights went down again and the gobo with a sailing ship came up and there was a scrolling background of water and I couldn't figure out how they were doing that. the giant curtain flew up and my little 13 year old mind was blown away.Did the Golden Earing drummer still have the strobe lights for his drum kit. The ones that looked like they were built into goosneck desklights? Oh, nevermind! Just remembering useless nonsense.
No, let's not count Sonny and Cher.Hey, me too! (If one doesn't count Sonny & Cher in 1974 I think.)
Okay, but Sonny told the most hilarious joke about how they mistakenly spelled his name on his microphone...they only had one "n".No, let's not count Sonny and Cher.
I will fight you for this titleThat was cool.
