I am in agreement with the people who are saying just make an inventory count. It the the KISS rule in action (Keep it Simple Stupid). If all of your gear stays in house then it diean't matter what light is where in the building. I would post a copy of my inventory, but it is huge as it includes fixtures, accessories, templates (with images), and more. For fixtures I keep columns with: Type, Quantity, Mfg., Hanging Weight, Lamp, Lens Color Code (for ERS), and notes. For MLs, follow spots, scrollers, and other gear that has serial numbers, I keep those as well.
