I have a city theatrical iris that is no longer recieving data. We are in a show run. The iris is in the middle of a data chain and everything else is still responding to the console (element). We have checked the patch is still correct, cleaned connections, opened it to check for loose wires, replaced some of the dmx just to double check.
When it is unplugged and I set an amount for how open/closed, then plug it back in, it accepts the amount after calibration. But it won't accept any new information after that. The manual is two pages so it doesn't help much. It does list a pattern of what the blinking means and it is blinking that it doesn't have dmx signal coming to it. It is sending data further down the chain though.
Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks.
