Is anyone else using wireless DMX?

i didn't think of where they would put the equipment, especialy if you were using higher powered antennas. as a point of clarification, you cannot plug dmx into a network jack, you will fry something, i was refereing to shownet, etcnet, etc to do something like that. in the one theatre I was in we used sn110 nodes and shownet for 90% of all of our dmx. it worked great and being that it was poe, we could drop network lines where ever we wanted and move the sn110 nodes as needed for shows. if I was doing a new install i would use shownet or etcnet to a 16 in-out opto isolator on my grid and then do drops from there to the battons and have a couple of drop box like items for specials. or get multiple network lines run following something similar to what was mentioned above

ethernet has packet checking
dmx doesn't, that's why you don't run pyro off it
