JBL bent horn

I was searching for some info on a JBL horn I remember seeing and hearing back in the 70s.
In the 60s it was known as the H5040 and later it was called the 2340.
That info was gathered here:

It was used by Showco in monitor speakers and keyboard monitor speakers. Really a cool looking horn.

While searching for this, I ran across this:

Now, that's one big speaker!!!
Of course my favorite speaker, just from the sheer beauty of the thing is the Western Electric W15A.

I spent quite a bit of time researching Altec Lansing VOTT (Voice of the Theater) systems. Awesome stuff. I always loved the look of multicell horns.

When I was young I spent a lot of time mixing on and maintaining VOTT speakers. There were some of those multi-cell horns that sounded pretty good too, considering where technology was back then.
 
A member of my church salvaged a VOTT cabinet a few years ago. Stuck the multi-cell horn unit in the choir loft and it sounds amazing!
