Wittenberg University's Department of Theatre and Dance is seeking a Scene Shop Supervisor to join the program this fall. This individual is responsible for building, painting and installing all scenic elements for 3-4 theatrical productions and two dance concerts, purchasing of materials, upkeep and upgrading of the scene shop, and supervision of 6-8 student workers.
This position is contracted for 25 hours per week over 9 months, with time off for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break. There is flexibility in how those hours are distributed over the course of the week, and the department will work with the Scene Shop Supervisor to accommodate outside projects.
Wittenberg University is located in Springfield, OH, roughly 30 minutes from Dayton and 50 minutes from Columbus.
