Job: Technical Director- Richmond Civic Theatre

The theatre I actively volunteer has just posted a technical director position. The organization produces about 10-12 productions/events each year utilizing community volunteers for just about all creative roles. This role of TD is new to the organization in it's current structure and joins staff that include an Executive Director, Youth Program Managing Director and Office Manager.

I volunteer for a community theatre in Annapolis MD and we have a similar need. I was considering posting on Control Booth but noticed you didn't get any hits on this post. It looks like you're still in the TD role though. Any tips on searching for a volunteer technical director?
