This is completely random...
On a whim as I was driving through middle Tennessee last week I stopped at a small antique/flea market store. Imagine my surprise when I found this fixture sitting there. It appears to be all original and in great shape.
From what I can gather it is an arc source fixture used as a compliment to daylite for photography. I found an advertisement for it in a weekly photographic catalog dated Nov. 1921, but I am wondering if that date is accurate or if this fixture is earlier than that.
Ship/others, anyone seen one of these before?
