LED tapes for willow tree

Hey guys - I inherited a gig that has two 14' high scenic tree trunks with awful chirstmas tree lights and Chauvet globes hanging from them to create an "LED Willow Tree". These monstrosities flank the main stage and are a complete eye sore since I have no dimming or DMX control over them (other than the few globes).

I'm working on recreating the structure using truss uprights and curved truss at the top, but would love to know if there are any interesting LED tapes that could work for this. I'm thinking NeoFlex or side emitting fiber tape would be good, but curious to see what else is out there.

I personally would look for something that emits light 360 degrees or as much of 360 as possible. https://www.doityourselfchristmas.com/wiki/index.php?title=Different_Styles_of_Pixels has a lot of info on pixel solutions as well as dumb LED solutions for do it yourself applications. http://www.adj.com/led-pixel-tube-360 These are a lower end product that is 360 and Astera has these which are battery and wireless. http://astera-leds.com/astera-wirel...dmx-battery-operated-ip65-16watt-event-light/
