Lee High Temp - Discontinued?

I was told by a vendor that Lee Filters is discontinuing the High Temp filters. Has anyone else heard this?
I was looking into pricing to set a blanket PO for the next fiscal year, so it sounds like the HT filters may be limited to stock on hand.
Just trying to find out what is going on.
Thanks,
John

Just a Guess, but the emergence of LED sources may be making the need for High Temp filters obsolete.

Here is the official statement from Lee:

“Unfortunately we have had issues with supply of the existing polycarbonate base, so we are unable to manufacture this product any longer.
We do of course have our R&D team working on an alternative and if successful this will be launched as a new product.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience, but we have exhausted every avenue to continue with the current product.”

To me, this is the culmination of an issue that has existed since at least 2011, to which I alluded here:

In my and most others' experience, the Lee Filters High Temperature line of colors DO last longer and ARE worth the extra cost. (Obtaining product in a timely manner is a totally separate discussion.)
Bold for emphasis.

Also this, dated March 2011, https://www.controlbooth.com/threads/lee-high-temp-gel.23560/ :
Hi....

Does anyone know what the real story is from Lee...????

Apparently High Temp gel has been backordered since SEPTEMBER!!?!?!

Thanks!
I never did hear back from Lee with regard to the question I posted via their website.
For my purposes, I just pulled the Lee HT from my P.O. request.
Take care,
John
P.S. Oh, why did my vacation have to end?
