Help... Just picked up a Leprecon 1524 on eBay without a power supply (as it was listed).

Leprecon has one more in stock, but it's $90. Wondering if anyone out there has one (mfg part # 27-0069) they're willing to part with or better yet if anyone knows what other types of power supplies or adapters would work for the unit? Thanks for any ideas - I'd rather not spend$90 if I don't have to!

If it truly is a 200 watt power supply ("Draws less that 2 amps at 120 volts"?) then $90 is probably a good price! No specs on it, but this is no 12 volt adapter! #### kh-nv ##### Member Actually it shows "12 vac/dc x 3 amps" so only 36watts. But unsure of the pin-plug sizing etc... #### Attachments • 66654716_xlarge.jpg 49.6 KB · Views: 196 #### microstar ##### Well-Known Member Leprecon's parts list shows 2.1mm for the inlet pin size, so I would think DigiKey part #237-1882-ND @$18.82 would work. 12vac/2.5A with 2.1x5.5mm plug.
Oops.... just saw the AC/DC part, so much more to choose from.

Do you have any recommendations for a LP-1500 power supply ?

If it says ac/dc then it's probably got a bridge rectifier internally so polarity wouldn't matter (ac is polarised "both ways", remember).

You'll have to look on the back for the voltage and current (or wattage).
