Okay, I finally have a sign-up form for the LAVA Light Labs. They will be offered Feb 22nd, 24th, and/or March 1st, depending on interest and popularity. We will have at a minimum a console, several conventionals with various gel colors, and one or more LED and automated lights (most likely an older HES scanner-- sorry no bad boys 
). We have the capabilities to set up up to 3 stations. If there is sufficient interest we also have some more unique gear listed on the sign up that may be available at one of the labs. These are intended primarily for novice and fairly inexperienced technicians that would like to get experience with consoles and lighting techniques outside of show critical situations. We certainly also invite more experienced technicians to volunteer to assist with these or attend just to see what it's about.
The minimum per session is 5 and the max is 18, and labs will be split and combined as needed to meet these numbers. Anyone below high school age will be required to bring a parent/guardian/responsible adult, and there may be additional requirements for high school students. All Labs will be held on the ASU Tempe Campus.
