Lighting Trees Proximity to Curtain Legs

I am just trying to find out an answer to how close I can or should have 1k Altmans on a pipe in proximity to legs down on stage. Considering that we know they are flame-retardant and not fireproof. What is the generally agreed-upon distance?

1) Welcome to the booth. Please stop by the new member section and introduce yourself.
2) I would suggest no less than 8" between any part of the fixture and the drape. IF you need to be closer you can use a heat border like Zetex which will prevent you from making your legs a smoldering holy spectacle.

I don't know from minimum, but our S4 750s are usually about 9" to a foot from our legs, never a problem.

Course the Altmans (you don't say which model) might have hotter surfaces.
