Lightwave Coldflow

I've got a Lightwave Research ColdFlow that seems to use a whole 50lb tank of CO2 to chill itself initially. It also ices up the exterior of the whole unit, quickly too, usually 1-2 inches of snow in 2-3 minutes. The pressure is with in the limit of the unit, and the pressure relief valve isnt leaking CO2 anywhere... Does anyone have major experience with this unit?

Sounds like a regulator or valve malfunction.

Good Morning

The last 1 I had in my shop (years ago) had the front plate wrap & let the CO2 leak out. This is probably where the snow is coming from.
Due to the very low temps its dealing with i couldn't do anything with it.
I've had some ideas since then but I haven't seen another 1 in the shop for awhile.
The pressure vessel is made up of 10 sections, 2 end plates, 4 inner & 4 outer.
No gasgets, just metal on metal
with age it will leak.
