Very interesting. Some sort of wedge mechanism? - not told. Good ideas, wonder about longitivity if wedge and potential damage to what its plugged into. Not aware of much of a problem in in-plugging, and or silicone to fix possibly seen. Interesting though.
 
Shame they don't look at first glance to be compatible with the locking IECs that are already out there - often blue, for example on QSC K series...
 
It looks like QSC might be using the Volex VLock.

I love locking IEC way more than PowerCon. PowerCon is difficult to work with and chews up your fingers if you have to rewire more than one in a row. Locking IEC is where it's at.
 
Here is a vid for the Quail Electronics version. however like most of the others available, it seems to only come in a molded to the cable version.

For me the interesting thing about the Webber version is that it was available as a socket only, for use with your own wire. Very handy for custom lengths.
