Hi friends. The person running the place before me used LX Free to make the lighting plot for our space. Anyone with experience, CAN a plot be exported in such a way that it can be opened by Vectorworks? I haven't been able to find any information about this. I know it can import a .DXF file, but it doesn't seem to be able to export one. Am I missing something? I have a renter's LD that would like a base plot to start with.
I'd love to have a Vectorworks license, but it's difficult to justify the cost for the amount of work we'd use it for. If LX Free (or Beams) can't export, are there any other affordable Light drafting apps that do?
