Was I the only one tonight who noticed the Mac III's and Showguns just hanging out on a truss in the background of a few shots during the middle of the movie tonight? I know I got a good chuckle, anyone else?

I hope not - I experienced the same thing for a moment there.

That might be the only reason -- it's at 22 percent at Rotten Tomatoes. Though I loved the first one.

Do you remember which seen? I'll have to look for it if I ever see it again.

Worst movie I have seen in a long time. I can not believe how bad it was. Its 2.5 hours of a plot that wanders all over the place. What part of the movie did you see the lights? I did not see them.

Oh goodness. I don't remember exactly, toward the beginning/ middleish. I believe that they were pointing at optimus, (which automatically makes it more epic.)

Yep the lights are about 20 minutes in and you get a few chances to see them. They're in the autobot's hangar. There's this circular truss above Optimus and it has them hanging there, mostly just pointing straight down. Even though they were most likely rented, it seems funny that they'd spend the money on something nobody would notice but us (they weren't creating a noticeable effects either). They could have gotten away with Source Fours, but heck it's Transformers. I guess they can do anything.

I'm going to print that out.

Why would they bother hiring gear for stuff like this? As les said only we would notice, and they were lighting Optumus Prime, who, last time I checked didn't really exist, and was made from CGI, (Unfortunately) so not much point lighting him.

Those didn't look like MAC III's and ShowGun's to me...I didn't get a great look at them but the quick glance I got looked to me like VL3000 Spot and VL500 Wash fixtures.

As for the movie itself, it was amusing but not something I'd got watch again other then to stare at the leading actresses bangin hot body for. It was filled with a lot of one-liners that were funny but exactly that...one-liners.

i'm pretty sure they were showguns...and i actually liked the movie...granted i went with a group of transformer super fans, so that helped my take on it a little. I'm not a transformer superfan...

Whatever they were, they appeared to have an LED ring.

    +1

Other than missing the movers, I found that there were so many questions in that movie. So many questions
