Model T for Ragtime

Howdy,
We are about to mount a production of Ragtime in Tampa, FL. We thought we had a line on a golf cart modded to look like a Model T, but it turns out that it is in Virginia. Does anyone out there know of anything along those lines a little further South? Or, can anyone recommend a good way to build such a thing inexpensively and with a high school crew? (yeah, I know, and while I'm dreaming I'd like a pony, too) ;-)

Thanks,
Rick T.

Echoing what I just posted in the French Door thread. Call your local theater community and see what they have in stock. I've been amazed at all the things people have in storage in this town that is available for a fraction of what it would cost to build. People in theater tech often get too tunnel visioned and think they have to do it all on their own reinventing the wheel again and again. Your in Tampa right?... there must be a theater in town who's done Ragtime before. Find them and see what they did. What did they do with the car afterward?
