I have had a lot of success with my current RGBA pars for saturated colors, but they're really not good enough for front white. Is there anything out there that:
- fixture cost less than $750
- can make a reasonable tungsten white. I do corporate shows of moderate production level - don't need TV-studio quality, but better than the average 4-color LED fixture. I would like the white to be good enough to mix these in with existing conventionals.
- pretty bright (I'm using 575w fixtures to do this now. I'm not expecting 14,000 OTF lumens, but the intent is for main front wash, so I need some power)
I'm interested in the ETC Colorsource par and will try to get a demo eventually. Is there anything else out there that is interesting? I know there are white only fixtures, and I may be interested in something like that, but my preference would be a multi-color capable fixture, as the main problem I'm trying to solve is not having to hang two sets of fixtures for color and white.
Thanks!
