My Fair Lady

I will running & designing sound for our run of My Fair Lady. Can any one throw some thing out there I should know from when you did it? I have just started looking at it, but I have about a week and a half to get it all together. The director has the basics laid out, so I'm told, but I am always looking for new and interesting things.

There's some recorded cues that come out of a Victrola when they're in the study. If it's at all possible, I'd do those with a practical instead of through the mains. If you can't wire something up right in the prop due to set changes, try to at least place a speaker directly upstage of the prop so the directionality seems right to those in the house.

thanks for the tip. sunday is the start of hell week, so i'll see what i can do. it shouldnt be that hard to do. i have enough drops on the side of the stage.
