Am I the only guy on here who does not make light plots on the computer. I just have hand scribble sketch drawings.

i can't afford a cad program. I have a little stencil, well its not even mine so i don't always get to use it. i've made up my own symbol system.

Not bad. Looks a lot nicer then my plots.A couple of suggestions, including a legend of the lighting fixtures will ensure people will completely understand your plot. Also, Circuiting infomation would also be handy. Overall, it looks very professional, Good job.

Just a small word of caution, it is easy to get carried away with style over content, a good lighting plot on a sheet of paper beats a bad plot beautifully printed, except at school where the latter will probably get the most marks.

Congratulations Hughesie. I still have my first plot rolled up in the basement... on paper of course. What a strange idea to put the audience on stage. Looks like you've found a way to put some decent lighting positions on the stage. But it's still kind of weird.

So is your problem that you are having a hard time finding a place to buy gel from, is it a question of what kind of gel to use, or a question of how to put it in the plot?
